  1. Figured I’d start the March 2020 stat board. It’ll creep up fast enough after the holidays. AGE: 32 ASVAB GT: 112 SIFT: 46 APFT: 296 ACFT: 565 EDUCATION: 49 Credits AA, Exercise Science, Private Pilots license (no live flight yet) FLIGHT: None, currently enrolled in local flight program will have flight hours to drop for last minute additions deadline LORS: O-3, 0-5 x 3, CW5 (154FF) OTHER INFO: Active Duty, E-7 (2 years TIG), 11B, 13 years TIS, 42 mos Iraq and Afghanistan PHYSICAL: At Rucker, no waivers WAIVERS: Age, AFS, Moral Interested in seeing if there are any older (military old) applicants who have made it recently or who are planning on applying.
  2. So I have a question, I'm not sure how strong my packet will be. Age: 22 GT: 111 SIFT: Pending LOR: CPT, LTC, CW5 (all nightstalkers) Flight time: 15 hours simulator time Schooling: no degree; 39 hours (2.5 gpa) :/ Military: SGT, three years in as 42A (S1), Three deployments. Highest mil ed is BLC Physical: Pending I am waiting to get approved on my eyes because its a slow process over here. That is why I'm aiming for May board. What do you think my chances are? Anyone think I should try to get my GT score up? Not sure if it looks bad barley meeting that min. Thanks in advance!
  3. Would anyone be willing to read, review and offer constructive criticism of my current Resume for the July board? I was FQ-NS and would like some opinions. Please PM me, and I will send it to you directly. Thank you very much!
  4. Hello all. AD USAF commissioned type (non-flyer) interested in flying helicopters for the Army as a sister-service AD applicant. Met with a WO recruiting team on my base. One of the emphasis notes was commissioned officers can only go up for the board once a year in January. Started on my packet and found USAREC's website does say commissioned O's only can compete in the January boards. But it specifically listed Army commissioned officers, nothing about non-Army. I contacted the POC I met at the recruiting session again he sounds convinced that even as sister-service I can only go up to the January Board. Is this true? Just looking for a second opinion, as I cannot find any other documentation aside from USAREC's site. Thank you. R/ PT
  5. Admittedly, as I progressed through the whole process as a sister service applicant I thought the entire time there would be a face to face interview with a "board" of people. I thought that I submitted my packet, once board ready I would receive an interview date, and then after the interview the results of that interview would be attached to my packet and sent for final review where it would be found Q-S, Q-NS, NS. Imagine my embarrassment when I emailed the Warrant Officer Recruiting team to inquire when I would receive my interview date. They seemed confused by my question but told me that everything is electronic and "once the packet is board ready no further action is required on part of the member." It was then that I learned that the interview is only for civilian applicants. I just always assumed there would be an interview for active duty applicants as well!!! Thought I'd share because I never saw ANYTHING to suggest otherwise and apparently I'm not a smart enough cookie to have figured it out myself before hand. So there ya go! Anybody else? haha
  6. I spoke with a CW4 aviator to see if he would provide me with a LoR. He agreed, but told me to write it and he would make what changes he thought he needed to and sign it. Does anyone have an example they would be willing to share? Or can anyone point me in the right direction? I've tried google, but I couldn't find anything specific.
  7. January board. Stats, match yourself up, help eachother through, smack talk, etc... Good luck.
