This thread is for those who are on the Commissioned Officer side of the Army looking to apply to WOFT... There are scattered answers on various threads for the commissioned side looking to revert, but I thought it would be a good idea to dedicate a thread specific to it. I know there are several of us on the forum who can help answer questions. For the most part, the process for applying is the same as everyone else, but there are some extra steps you have to take to make things happen. Hello all. AD USAF commissioned type (non-flyer) interested in flying helicopters for the Army as a sister-service AD applicant. Met with a WO recruiting team on my base. One of the emphasis notes was commissioned officers can only go up for the board once a year in January. Started on my packet and found USAREC's website does say commissioned O's only can compete in the January boards. But it specifically listed Army commissioned officers, nothing about non-Army. I contacted the POC I met at the recruiting session again he sounds convinced that even as sister-service I can only go up to
