  1. Good morning everyone, I'm an Italian military pilot and I'm attending IERW and BWS in Fort Rucker. Spending my time here I'm really enjoying American Army aviation, I really appreciate the American Army values, and also I've found a really special person for whom I would like to move here. I'm a O-3 of the Italian Army, I'm 30yo, I have a bachelor degree in Strategic Sciences, I've got a fixed wing PPL (EASA), 20h on Italian military Fixed wing and all the rotary wing hours foreseen by the IERW course at Rucker (about 90H plus 30h of sim). Is there any chance I can be a WO in the American army? I'll be here for another couple of weeks, is there anything I could do to facilitate this before leaving? Thank you for your time and I really appreciate any info you can provide.
  2. Okay this question has been asked to many times for me not to receive clear guidance, but I'm hoping some of you intelligent people can help me out. Here's my situation. I am a 19 years old with interest of becoming a pilot. I have read Street to Seat is an option along with OCS. Unfortunately I do not have enough resources to put me through college to make me a competitive candidate whatsoever. I have talked to a recruiter about becoming a 15T AD in hopes that I can receive LORS and to be able to work with WO's. My question is if this is a good plan. I figured if I decide not to pursue a pilot slot in the Army, I could use my experience turning wrenches for the Army and get certified as an A&P through the FAA (Backup Plan). Any help would be much appreciated.
  3. I'd like to say thank you to all of the veteran posters out there. You guys have been a tremendous amount of help. Everytime Ive had a question or in need of guidance, you all have been there. For the newcomers, I highly recommend you read through all of these threads. You will definently benefit from it. So the reason I wanted to start this thread is becuase so much of the information on what to study, what books to read, apps to use during flight schools, and other helpful training tools are pretty scattered over many different threads. I thought it would be a good idea to try to accumulate this information. I wanted to share this website I stumbled across awhile back. I havnt signed up yet, but it looks like it would be a very helpful tool for those going through WOFT. It also has links to appts that you can put on your I-pad and other devices, such as 5/9 flash cards. There is a $20 sign up fee but that lasts for the year. If anyone on here has been through this website, could you please comment and let everyone know what you think and if it was a helpful tool or not. www.gomotherrucker.com Also, check out www.armyflightlogbook.com Thanks ps.... GO 58's!!!
