  1. Good Evening, I'm putting in my packet for hopefully the May board. Got everything put together except for the Flight medical. My recruiter and his battalion has been struggling to find how to get the flight physical done, and so I've been waiting on that for about 3 weeks. My recruiter called me today though and said that they couldn't send me because the Army cancelled the May 2020 board. is this true? If so when's the next one? I've been hunting around this board and others but I'm fairly new here and I might have just missed it. Appreciate it, this forum's been great for getting stuff ready.
  2. So this is my second recruiter I've went through trying to get my WOFT application process going (first one claimed I wasn't eligible due to not have prior flight experience and/or military service) and refused to believe that civilians could apply. I spoke with the new recruiter on the phone for the first time today (came recommended) and he basically said that I need to commit to him that I will go enlisted if I don't get accepted to the WOFT program. Then he gave me some long spiel about how the army is all about commitment and that I will have a better chance coming from the inside. Am I wrong for thinking he is out of line by forcing me to go enlisted if I get rejected by the board? Also correct me if I am wrong but didn't more civilians get selected by the board in 2016 then people from inside of the army for the WOFT program? It just doesn't seem like the logical thing to do to go enlisted if my goal is to become a warrant officer. I just graduated from college this past December and I really want to find a recruiter that will help me put my packet together and allow me to put my best foot forward. I am located in the Washington D.C. area. Thanks.
  3. Quick question for the VR community. Has anyone processed a WOFT packet while overseas? Preferably on the civilian side. If so, what was the process like and how long did it take you? Was everything pretty much one stop since they fly you in or did you have to go more than once? Officers board and Battalion board done in Europe? I was MIA for a while flying around Saipan (North of Guam) building flight hours and now I'm back in Croatia finishing up my WOFT packet with a recruiter in Germany. Been working on this thing for-ev-er. According to the recruiter we're set to make the Nov. 28th - Dec. 2nd board but I'm yet to see and believe his claim of supreme competency compared to the CONUS recruiters. Also.... Is Shindig alive? Thanks.
