montu Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 Feels fantastic. Especially since my DPE said I was the best applicant hes had in awhile. I couldn't believe it when he said that. Can't wait to take my gf up this weekend. She is real nervous about it but I told her its no big deal. -Jordan Quote

I took my nervous wife up 2 nights ago and she just loved it after her first few moments of being nervous. I was very careful to explain to her what I was doing, what to expect and how things worked. She was most impress with my class Charlie radio work. Once I had communicated with the Tower and Departure a couple of times she knew I knew what I was doing. By the time the flight was over she was asking when can we do it again. Yesterday, I took my mom up for her 71st birthday and I took my best friend up. What a real joy to be able to share this new skill with friends and family. Good luck and have fun. I am loving it! Chuck Edited August 29, 2008 by chucksweet Quote
