StanFoster Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I am about to have my checkride in an R22. I have all my solo time, cross country, and instuctor time in. I found this site and love it. I recently entered a nationwide DeWalt top17 trim carpenter contest....and made the final cut of 17 across the U.S. My project was a dual curved stairway which you can view along with 16 other entries. I am asking for your vote ,IF, you think my entry deserves it. Please go to www.dewalt.com/top17 to view all our entries and vote for your favorite. My name is Stan Foster and I live in Illinois. My curved stairbuilding business has allowed me to pursue my helicopter flying dreams, and I am presently building a Helicycle. I would appreciate any votes and also you may vote 3 times a day thru Dec. 14th...then ion Dec 15th the winner will be announced. Thanks Stan Foster Quote
HeliHelvig Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 The stairs look great! My father is actually a finish carpenter as well so I have a special appreciation for the work I guess. I voted for you. Three times! Welcome to the community. Quote
Wannabe1 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Hey Stan... Glad you found the site! You get the checkride scheduled yet? Tom Quote
StanFoster Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 wannabe- I will be having my checkride sometime in December. I have 800 plus hours in gyrocopters...but there is nothing like flying a powered rotor! www.dewalt.com/top17 to view my project. Thanks DewaltTop17 finalist Stan Foster Quote
FlyNHighNFast Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Stan: That is some beautiful work! You got my vote. P.S. Based on my high school wood working class, I'm sure I can take you in a toothpick making contest, as all of my projects turned out as perfect toothpicks Quote
