sactown77
Hi everyone, I'm was accepted in the Army WOFT program, and I was wondering which bases have regular army helicopter units. It seems like a lot of bases have national guard units. If anyone has some insight I'd love to hear it. Thanks!
Linc
As a general rule, any Army Post (Fort) that is home to one of the Army's Divisions (1st Infantry Division, 82nd Airborne Division, 101st Air Assault Division, etc.) is going to have aviation assets. Typically, Army aviation units are not stationed at Air Force Bases or Naval Air Stations, while Army National Guard and Army Reserve aviation units may be stationed at those locations for security reasons or economic reasons.
