Looked, can not find any active schools in Oklahoma, or Arkansas. Anyone know of any? Oh yeah friend may even consider going to New Mexico, so any there too?

YES! We have a school in NM :D Enchantment Helicopters, located at Double Eagle airport in western Albuquerque. Always flying in high D/A (Airport is 5837msl) and mountainous terrain, we have a R44 (instrument trainer rated) and an R22. Great instructors

Roc- you should add that to the VR database..follow the link above that says "Find a school".

 

Currently there is nothing showing up in NM..

I'm taking lessons at Interstate Helicopters for my private. Goldy has provided the contact info already. I just wanted to mention that this is a great place to learn. Everyone there is very helpful. It's not one of those big, busy schools.....but I like that it's small. If you have any questions, I'll be glad to help.

i have been to this school in Searcy Arkansas to look around, my father has done some Gyro training there and likes the school. they don't rent their robbie out tho :-(

 

don't know anything else about them..

I don't know if they teach, but try calling Tulsa Helicopter. Mark and Teri Delozier. 918-636-1808 Nice people. They flew the other R44 during the filming of a poker run at Lake of the Ozarks this past August.
