sikorskypilot Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 So I have been meaning to get around to this topic for a while now but it just kept on slipping my mind. Last year I was flying to reposition the helicopter to a better position to get called on fires. One of our stops was in Denver. We landed at KAPA (centennial Airport.) and the FBO we stayed at was called the Heliplex. This FBO was all set up to support helicopter operations. No taxiways, just helipads and a large ramp area. They set up our hotel rooms and rental car for me and my crew. Anything we needed they were there. Even got some killer heliplex polo’s. I highly recommend if you are in the Denver area to stop on in there. The only other place remotely close to the service we got there is in Indianapolis at the metro heliport. But I can’t say much about that one since I have not had the chance to land there.the heliplex website is www.theheliplex.com. Quote
