Rotor head issues...

This ended up being a big topic of discussion prior to a mission brief today. Didn't see it on the board and I figured someone might be interested by it. Some people never learn...

A local helicopter pilot is under investigation, accused of shooting a porn flick in the skies over San Diego while he was at the controls.

David Martz is known for ferrying celebrities like rocker Tommy Lee.

A video obtained by TMZ shows porn star Puma Swede topless on the tarmac at Montgomery Field in 2007. She can then be seen on the video inside the chopper alongside Martz, buzzing over crowded freeways and neighborhoods.

Shortly afterward, she leaned over and performed a sex act on Martz.

Puma said it was a way to repay Martz for allowing the crew to use his chopper and hangar at Montgomery Field.

Martz had his pilot's license suspended and revoked twice for flying recklessly. He is also under investigation by the FAA for flying dangerously close to an Los Angeles police helicopter near Van Nuys airport, just days ago.

It will be interesting to see how long this pilots friends are his friends...now that he can not fly them around.

Anyone remember the post about the guy that landed his helicopter up off Mulholland Drive a year or so ago? Then, after being warned by an LAPD airship, he took off anyway, and then 2 hours later came back and landed again?

He was cited for an LA City ordinance that you can't land aircraft in the city limits off airport without a permit.

Me thinks its probably the same pilot...

Whether it is unsafe, reckless or at least 'distracted' flying is one thing.

But having someone film it? It didn't look like someone 'surprised' him with the whole act or camera either. That just seems really stupid to me.

You can 'thank me' for whatever back on the ground.

it's definitely the same guy who landed outside of Tommy Lee's house a while back. he doesn't seem to WANT to be a responsible pilot.

What a loser.

he would have received more 'attention' on the ground anyway from that woman, instead of being cooped up in the cockpit. no pun intended...

seems those FAA guys don't pay attention to idiots like that - but they are right up on others for sneezing upwind
