Texas Wheelman
I'm very curious about the "Griffin Combat VTOL" that is in the RealFlight G4.5 simulator, expansion pack 3. It looks really interesting, and really want to find out if anyone knows if it was ever made in real life. It looks like something that might have been thought up in the 40s or 50s as a personal VTOL craft with a turbofan for forward motion. In the simulator, the turbofan doesn't give any thrust until the landing gear are retracted. Does anyone know about this aircraft? All info will be greatly appreciated. I'll add links and videos as I find them. Thanks, John

Texas Wheelman
Turns out it's not real. There's another one called the Wolf Spyder that looks like a Bell X-22.

Linc
Where do you put the fuel? The pilot can probably carry more ammo on his person than the aircraft can hold internally.
