copterkeith06 Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Hello to all, I'm 43 years old, great health, 218 lb flight weight, Commercial Helicopter Instrument Rated. 656 TT, 532 PIC, 374 XCPIC, 52 Night. All Schweizer time. I've flown from Mi. to Ny. & back, and all over the state of Mi. during all seasons. Any suggestions as to where I can go work for very little pay ? Or what to do next ? Thanks for your time, Keith Quote
Darren Hughes Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Maybe check out some AG operations in your area. With no CFI you're not eligible for the typical low time pilot route. AG might be a good way for you to build more time. You'll just have to be lucky to find an operator that'll hire you with such low time. Not many out there, but they are out there. Just be aware, you'll probably have to spend at least a year on the ground doing the grunt work before they'll let you into the cockpit. Although they might let you ferry ships to and from the job sites if you're lucky. Quote
copterkeith06 Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 Unfortunately there are no heli ag ops in Mi. Fixed wing only. I guess I'll have to dish out more money. Thanks for your reply. Quote
