joe nelson Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I'm looking for some information on servo flaps as on the Seasprite. It is for a project that I've been working on for a few years and I need some info on how this device is attached to the blade. Any help would be appreciated. Quote
FauxZ Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 here are some up close pictures of a K-max. Very similar. We do have a SeaSprite pilot on here, and I'm sure he'll reply. I can't seem to find his screen name though Quote
joe nelson Posted February 13, 2009 Author Posted February 13, 2009 Zaron, Thanks for the great pictures! They helped greatly. The next part to my puzzle is where the control rod makes the 90 degree transition to the servo flap inside the blade. I've been experimenting with different Kaman-style components for about two years. The K-Max and Husky are both sychrocopter and alittle too complex for me at this time. The Seasprite has a single rotor...easier to get the mechanics right the first time! Both the K-Max and Husky have complicated control reverse systems which I'm totally cluless. I like to keep things as simple as possible. Again many thanks. Joe Quote
