rotormandan Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I'm just wondering what countries out there operate under FAA regs. Quote
West Coaster Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 What about the American colonies/territories like Guam, the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the rest? Quote
Goldy Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 (edited) What about the American colonies/territories like Guam, the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the rest? You can fly in a lot of countries, mostly in South America, Africa, Carribean, and South Pacific....I dont know of one source that lists them all, but its a long list. Some might say you can fly in any ICAO country, but I dont think thats true....maybe someone has an official list laying around... Goldy I may have mis read the question. I assumed you meant in which countries could you fly with an FAA cert, but you actually asked which countries have adopted FAA reg's.....different question. Edited March 5, 2009 by Goldy Quote
IFLY Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 (edited) Just about anywhere if you fly a N reg aircraft. Jerry I was commenting on Goldy's post, I've only flown N reg and G reg aircraft around Europe. Edited March 5, 2009 by IFLYEVERYTHING Quote
PhotoFlyer Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Lets be clear. You can fly an N registered aircraft just about anywhere, but the rules of the country you are flying in apply. And I believe the FARs apply the same to US colonies and territories. Quote
