rmiller4292 Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Thats a great website....there are alot of neat airfields in there.....from all over the country. Quote
FlyNHighNFast Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Thanks for the link, as heartbreaking as it was for me to see some of my old haunts on the list. Potomac Airfield (1st solo, May 1, 1990) Hyde field, and College Park Airport, may soon join Baltimore Airpark, as nothing but ghostly entries in my old logbook... sad, sad, sad. Quote
Goldy Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Yepp, its a great resource, I look at it often...sorta a fav topic of mine. Just in Glendale, CA we went from 3 airfields to zero in 35 years. Burbank went from 4 to 1 in the same time frame. Used to be a dirt strip every 100 yards or so in L.A. !! Goldy Quote
