spraypilot Posted May 31, 2009 Report Share Posted May 31, 2009 That did not make any sense, I think they got it wrong. You cannot refuel from inside the cockpit. My guess is either he was refueling and when the fuel nozzel touched the tank got a spark or, it was not a G2 but a Wasp or Tomcat or D1 with the small pillow type tank over the exhaust and fuel spilled onto the stack.
