Goldy
Out on a fire about 2 weeks ago and I snapped a few hundred photos while standing around waiting for an assignment. This one struck me a bit. In a lot of these photos you can see 3 or 4 different aircraft on the fire at the same time. I call it the firedance with aircraft coming and going, big ones, little ones, fixed wings, DC 10's, the list just goes on and on. And of course, way up high, is one lonely bastard trying to keep them all from killing each other! I know about depth of field. I was there. I have to tell you this one shot shows it was a bit close !! The helicopter is actually out in front, the fixed wing turned in behind it....and not very far behind it I might add ! You can check out some of the shots at this link: http://picasaweb.google.com/stevegoldswort...Nyr49XJ3aDZ0AE#
