We had one of those in our hangar, too for a few months, to help the guy out. Until someone saw it at a change of command a few weeks ago and started asking questions. oops. I for one am amazed that they were able to put blades on an APU and make it fly. Edited July 30, 2009 by CharyouTree

slick1537
Can I ask why that 300 is about 8 different colors?
clay
we pieced it together from lots of different crashed helicopters. its from Jamaica. Its sponsored by Crayola. It is a member of the "flying circus" (all things made up by customers/students) I love flying that thing. it is one of the smoothest Schweizers I've been in. The nice part about it, when I'm sitting in it the color really doesn't bother me. Plus, If something happens and we go down, they WILL be able to spot me. MileHi480B
Once again, Clay took photos of the Elite Fleet ... and included my R44 (bottom right of frame) but I got no royalties! And ... the REAL reason the 300 is multi-colored is to match the myriad of outfits Clay often wheres. He has a thing for "Fabulous" fashion -- "If you know what I'm sayin".
