11 Bravo
I am currently serving in the National Gaurd and working as a part time flight instructor, I was wondering if flight hours are taken into consideration when submitting your packet? BlackHwk27
They sure are. Basically with the national guard, the state you apply through is forking over the money to train you. You having flight time already, even being a rated pilot/flight instructor, only helps to assure them that you can complete the training. Which state are you in and planning to apply through? RagMan
Any flight experience is greatly looked upon. As most of the applicants won't have that kind of background in their packets, it will give you that extra edge over them.
