rcreager
I've got a pretty big dilema on my hands here. I finally found what i want to do for the rest of my life and it is to become a helicpter pilot. For a while now it has eating away at me to start training sometime in the near future. This is something is something i have made a goal in my life for. I made a large lapse of judgment one night a year ago and got a DUI. I want so badly to become EMS 10 years down the road but i can't seem to find out. Does anyone know if this is possible? Will they hire with a past indiscrssion 5-10 years ago? Thanks so much, -Hopeful Student Pilot
apiaguy
ah freak... if the mayor of DC can smoke crack and get reelected then of course with time and rebuilding of your reputation you can fly ems in the future... it ain't gonna be easy for these next months/years but it is possible with dedication.Glad you found your life's ambition. rcreager
I appreciate the honesty. Was a rather large mistake but i feel i have overcomed this and learned from the experience to NEVER DO IT AGAIN. I just love, with a passion to fly helicopters. Especially if it involves helping others survive!
