Nathan88 Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 in the photo (attached) why is there so much bending of blades. i have never seen this before. any answers will be greatly appreciated. Quote
67november Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 it has nothing to do with the blades but the speed at which the camera took the picture of the turning blades. Quote
Nathan88 Posted August 11, 2009 Author Posted August 11, 2009 ok, i wasn't certain. can rotor blades cone that much, though? at low RPMs? would the camera speed change the apparent plane of tip rotation? even the shadow of the blades look a bit funny. Quote
Hedge36 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Explained rather well here: http://www.michaelbach.de/ot/mot_Roget/index.html Quote
