RkyMtnHI Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 I heard it might be one of rotors ships, and or one of their chief pilots... I do know that they do some training in that area but not sure. Would appreciate any info as I still have some friends flying over there. thanks, dp Quote
ScottL Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 For general information usually you have to wait for the first business day after an incident occurs then you can find basic information at http://www.faa.gov/data_research/accident_...eliminary_data/ Doesn't give names most of the time, but if you do your research you might find out who it was since it does give tail numbers Quote
Sparker Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 He says one of the pilots owned the craft and was moving it from Chicago to his new home in Salida, Colo. Doesn't sound like a Rotor's ship. Glad they're ok. Quote
RkyMtnHI Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 Doesn't sound like a Rotor's ship. Glad they're ok. http://www.mccookgazette.com/story/1567499.html yep, sorry for the late response, we have been busy. it was one of rotors chief pilots, doing a ferry flight. everyone was ok. the little i know is: there was a loud pop, they entered an auto and somehow it rolled over on the landing. glad they were ok too. dp Quote
Gomer Pylot Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 "One of Rotor's chief pilots"?? I was under the impression that there can only be one chief pilot. The chief pilot is ... well, the chief pilot, at least according to Part 135. Quote
Mikemv Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Chief Pilot or maybe Assistant Chief Pilot in flight school? Chief Pilot in the flight school could be a different person than Chief Pilot 135 but both work for same Company? I have been around both scenarios. Quote
