I heard it might be one of rotors ships, and or one of their chief pilots... I do know that they do some training in that area but not sure. Would appreciate any info as I still have some friends flying over there.

thanks,

For general information usually you have to wait for the first business day after an incident occurs then you can find basic information at http://www.faa.gov/data_research/accident_...eliminary_data/ Doesn't give names most of the time, but if you do your research you might find out who it was since it does give tail numbers

He says one of the pilots owned the craft and was moving it from Chicago to his new home in Salida, Colo.

Doesn't sound like a Rotor's ship. Glad they're ok.

yep, sorry for the late response, we have been busy.

it was one of rotors chief pilots, doing a ferry flight. everyone was ok.

the little i know is: there was a loud pop, they entered an auto and somehow it rolled over on the landing.

glad they were ok too.

Chief Pilot or maybe Assistant Chief Pilot in flight school? Chief Pilot in the flight school could be a different person than Chief Pilot 135 but both work for same Company? I have been around both scenarios.
