I just booked the airline tickets, I'll be meeting Ironranger and Dominis at the airport in houston then we're off to the hotel.

We should choose a VR meeting place for all of us who show up (day and time)

That sounds like a plan. Let me know, and I'll definitely be there.

I sent a message to Lyn to see if his is going to have a VR/JH booth at the show somewhere, I thought that would be the most logical meeting place. I'm awaiting his response

OK I have some more info

JH has booth # 2919 and RC Prof. has booth # 2921

Since the exhibits hall closes at 5 PM on sunday we should all meet at the booths at 3 PM and plan for the evenings activities.

On Monday there is the HAI’s “Salute to Excellence” Awards Banquet from 8 PM to 11:30 PM that we can attend that evening.

"A ticket for the Awards Banquet is included with each Full Registration or can be purchased separately on a space available basis – online, fax, mail, or on site. Seating reservations must be made before noon, Monday, February 22, either online or at the Banquet Seating Desk in the reservation area of the Convention Center. Tables of 10 are available, but do fill up quickly, so request these early."

I hope to see lots of VR members and put a face to the name.

I will arrive on the 18th, be in FIRC on 19 & 20. The Exhibit Hall opens to general public on the 21st, so no way VR members can meet inside on the 20th! I am staying at The Aloft Hotel. Anyone else attending FIRC? MikeMV

yes they are

Banquet Tickets

Pre-Reg On-Site

Member $75 $85

Non-Member $90 $100

since many people may not be attending the banquet then I would suggest the same meeting time frame at the JH booth for monday also

buying a table is cheaper i think...but that would be hard for you guys to organize. I do recommend going if you can, nice to see these people getting recognized for their hard work.

I will be attending and also staying at the Aloft hotel.

OK, I'll be in for the Saturday night kick off event. If you've never been, you should plan to go, just bring a business card for entry!

Too bad VR doesnt make a pin that we could all wear so that other VR members know of us!...uhhh..Lyn, you listening? Bring a ton of VR pins, pass them out at the booth and then we can more easily hook up with other members at helo events!

I get 10% of the profits!

Planning on being there Sun/Mon.

Still trying to tie it in with a work trip so someone else picks up the room/board.

But planning on going no matter what.

I'll be up for meeting Saturday evening, just let me know when and where! I'm driving down so I will have my own vehicle. I know there is a Hard Rock Cafe on Texas St, a few blocks north of the Conv center.

I will not be attending the expo this year and I had a question for the chief pilot at Robinson. Well I just got off the phone with Robinson and unfortunately I will have to wait until after the Heli expo. He had just left in the R66 enroute to the Heli expo. Just thought I would let everyone know who is going to attend the expo, that the R66 is on its way there now.
