I found out on Tuesday that I was selected into the WOFT program. I go down tomorrow morning to go over and sign my contract. Im not too sure as to how the whole contract process goes but does anyone know of anything that I push for in my contract? My recruiter says I should be able to get student loan repayment.

I'm just wondering if there is anything that might slip through the cracks that is somewhat optional?

Thanks

Wow, welcome to the forums and Congrats!!!

I have no advice for you since I'm just beginning the packet process - if you don't mind, what were your "stats"?

You can ask for a steak dinner in your contract... hell i don't really think it matters. they will tell you if they can't do it.

Congratulations. I have been working on this for years. I went before the board in July and was recommended so now my packet (I'm told) will be going before the USAREC board the first week of December. If I get selected I will ask just one question. Where do I sign? I'm all for getting some kind of incentive but come on! You going to get some of the best training in the world and get paid to do it. That is incentive enough for me.

Congratulations and welcome. The only advice I have (and you've probably heard this a hundred times) is whatever they do promise you, make sure it's in writing before you sign. Verbal promises mean nothing. It has to be in the contract. Again...congrats!.
