rotorrodent
hit wires http://www.ktvu.com/news/22142446/detail.html bugger...preliminary indicates a wire strike. However, what is a wire doing out in the "wilderness"? Rotorrodent
R22139RJ
I fly in the foothills sometimes near Fresno, which isn't far from Madera, and there are a lot of power lines that go to damns on the rivers that stretch across small canyons and are very hard to spot. That is my best guess.
Inferno
I fly along that canyon quite often. There are a ton of wires for the hydroelectric generation in that canyon. Some are easy to spot, and other you can only see because you already know about them... Thats a real shame.
Darren Hughes
Hey R22139RJ, Who do you fly for in Fresno? I went to Mazzei a while back. Man I miss those Sierras.
