flyboy8383 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Share Posted January 18, 2010 I thought I would give the Canadians and students training at Chinook Helicopters in Vancouver the heads up that there is a company called Airwork LLC doing heli flight training at the Bellingham Airport. They offer rates that are nearly $200 cheaper than Chinook's and use Schweizer 300's. I have started with them recently and their instructors are really knowledgeable and they make my flight training fun. I was at a different school and they treated me like a number there. I'm very pleased so far, I'm anxious to see how things go. Check them out if you're looking to build time, it saved my Canadian friend nearly $12K. They operate on the student's schedule, no class start or end dates. I think they already have a location in the Seattle area, but have expanded it looks like.
