Just an update

Just thought I'd let everyone know, I flew my first 44 last weekend in Tulsa, OK. It went well. My cfi was a guy named Kieth and he was great. Less than 15 minutes in forward flight and he had me on all three controls driving straight lines, climbing, descending, and turning. I thought the 44 was sweet. My confidence is building. He let me try hovering and this post is proof that I did not DIE, although I thought I might at the time. Need more practice. Anyway, second flight and first official entry in my log book. CSW.

Wow, nice ship, but not usually the entry trainer in the industry! Good luck, sounds like you had fun.

Yes, not usually. I was 220# and Kieth was 195#. So it was either go home feeling fat or go home feeling fat and having flown a little. I flew. I am now on a diet. The money I save on food can go toward flight time. Just for the record, I am 6'1.

Almost 6-5 here and when I weigh in at 240 I fly the 22, the rest of the time I'm about 250 and also in the 44.
