NCAMT
Can a A&P/IA with 12 years in a part 135/145 experience get a helicopter job to expand his maintenance credentials, in North Carolina?
67november
Attending R22 & S300 maintenance training will help out alot.
RagMan
Of course you can. As long as you have your A&P license, you can venture into either area of maintenance, that being fixed wing or rotary wing. I'm sure with 12 years experience and an IA you will have no problems picking up a job. A maintenance course isn't necessary, however, some companies prefer a technician who has aircraft specific factory maintenance training. Good luck! NCAMT
It all comes to training. I'll keep looking for a company to work with me.
