I've seen the video. I found it very interesting. I wonder what kind of weight it may add to the helicopter. Many companies may not find the loss in useful load vs benifit to be worth it though.

 

I think there are a lot of great improvements coming out to really increase the chances of surviving an accident. We already see the Parachutes. Now there are seatbelt fitted airbags, which is an easy modification and not to heavy.

One of the things I didn't like about the r-22 is that it has the car type seat belt system. I always thought that the S300 had a better design in terms of restraint with the multiple point harness.
