swisster Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Hey all, I just found out that there is going to be an updated edition released of the Rotorcraft Flying Handbook (FAA) on May 11th. I know, this is not earth shattering news, but I just wanted to spread the word. Happy Easter, Swisster Quote
frumplestiltskin Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I was reading chapter 3 in the 2000 edition last night and they wrote "decease" instead of "decrease" in reference to driving/driven regions of the blade during autorotative flight (I think). As if autorotations weren't scary enough for a noob. That's a doozy as far as typos go! Quote
Kandace Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I'll believe it when I see it. It was supposed to have been done last year about that same time. Kandace Quote

Aviation Audiobooks Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 The FAA has not yet updated the book, but you can now get it as an audiobook! We released it earlier this month. If they release a new version soon, we'll be updating the audiobook too. www.aviationaudiobooks.com Quote
