Lindsey Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 34 of 36 were accepted. :o :o :o Noooooooooooooooooo!! This was the board I was hoping to make, until I was informed I had to wait 6-months for LASIK because of the way Seattle MEPS is running. Just hoping this is a blessing in disguise, but damn! I like those odds! Quote
Stephen85 Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 34 of 36 were accepted. Flying Bison, Are you sure that all 36 were WOFT? Or does the 36 include OCS applicants? Quote
Flying Bison Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 Flying Bison, Are you sure that all 36 were WOFT? Or does the 36 include OCS applicants? I honestly couldn't tell you. All I have been told is that there were 36 applicants at the board. Quote
Flying Bison Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 Looks like I was misinformed. I received the official memo from the board today. 34 applicants, 15 selects. all warrant Quote

Flying Bison Posted June 22, 2010 Author Posted June 22, 2010 Went to DEP in yesterday and I hit a snag. I was disqualified on a technicality because there was a discrepancy in my packet dealing with a law violation when I was younger. I can re-board in 6 months but I have to go through both the battalion and the USAREC boards again. I'm super bummed, but I have time now to improve my packet. Quote

I'm sorry to hear that. The good news is, if you were selected once, that means they liked something about your packet! You really have to wait a whole 6 months? That seems ridiculous. But hey, perhaps I'll see ya down at Rucker, then! *Prays* Quote
