Good day everyone. I'm looking at doing a longline/turbine course this fall in a 206 and was hoping some of you would have a suggestion for study material (other than part 133 of course).

I asked a similar question in another post and I was recommended The Helicopter Pilot's Handbook by Phil Croucher. It has a very in depth section on external loads.

I have a 3 page article which I cut out of a magazine some years ago by Dennis Venturi called Learning the Line. I copied the pages as a PDF file and the quality is not so good but readable. In any case, the article has some good info on the topic and if you wish, PM me an email address and I’ll pass it on.
