eaw913 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I was thinking today about what I need to be doing to boost my resume for my packet. I know I need to get into leadership type events, but does anyone have any ideas? During high school I did an engineering program that traveled out of state each year for a conference. I did this for multiple years, so I figure this will help. But I also need to be doing things now while I am in college. I am not sure where to start, or what kinds of things the board looks for in a resume. So if anyone has any insight, please let me know. I would rather figure this out while I have time, that way I can be as ready as possible when it comes to putting my packet together. Appreciate any information, guys. This forum never lets me down. SBuzzkill Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 What sort of extra-curricular activities does your college have? Quote

eaw913 Posted September 24, 2010 Author Posted September 24, 2010 I am looking into all the extra-curricular things at my college now. I found many trips to go on, such as volunteer work overseas. I would love to do something like this, as it would be a great experience and also something great for my resume. Onl issue is it is expensive. If I have at least one trip overseas (month at least), and do some volunteer work around my college, would this be decent? I do not mind doing this type of stuff as I find it very fun. Quote
