I am always amazed by the depth of experience and knowledge of our visitors......no matter how obscure I am, people figure it out.

 

I hit two different countries this week. Which country am I in in these pics?

If not, it's either Mexico or Belize and I hope you didn't risk your life going to Mexico. Belize is nice though.

Guatemala was my second choice......watch yourself if you are in the city area there..

I've been to Guatemala nine times. Never to Tikal. That is next on the list. You are right, need to be careful there too. I always travel out of the city with "bodyguards".

I thought so. I've been eyeing that place for a while now. How was it? I've been to Guatemala many times, both coasts and everything inbetween except two places. Tikal is one of them.

So, Belize and Guatemala? Looks like a pretty cool trip to take... were you down there for work or vacation?

We loved both countries. Guatemala is much prettier in my opinion. Tikal was amazing and interesting from both an architectural and historical standpoint. I have also been to Machu Piccu in Peru and have spent time in the Amazon so I would not say that Belize, Guatemala, and Tikal compared to that in an equal sense, but awesome non-the-less.
