Hey Moose, like the above guy, I am a bit biased too. I am currently a student there and I have been exceptionally pleased with the school. They have built their own flight simulators, at their facility, that are used in classes. At just over 5,000 feet, the DAs reach 8000 feet in the summer and you cannot get training like that in many other places. GHI is one of the few flight schools that does off airport training and practices real world stuff.

The Yavapai College program is unaffected by the new 9-11 GI Bill and their students will be able to continue their flight training. Email me if you have any questions. I would love to talk with you about it.

The flight instructors are super great and are there to be flight instructors...not to just build time. They have a benchmark system to keep students on track and keep them from falling through the cracks. All of the ground schools have videos associated with them so you can take the lectures home with you after you leave the class.

Its a great place. Plus Prescott is kinda cool too.

You should check out their website and give them a call.
