Three crashes in the same town in the same morning?!

Recommended Posts

Frost work is inherently dangerous, flying in the dead of night in foggy and cold conditions. Only did it for 1 week and elected to not do it again.

Well, that makes sense. I was trying to figure out what the hell happened. Frost isn't a common occurance in FL, right?

Superstition would tell you the R-44 was doomed from the beginning with that tail #.

What they growing there? That field (in the blurry picture)looks alight like the crops they find hidden up in the hills out west. Medicinal use right :)

Glad every one lived to tell the story.

This is our local paper in Palm Beach County which has more information: http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/33-helicopter-crashes-in-the-glades-a-reminder-1106470.html

Although I own the website www.FrostPatrol.com we don't do much of this as it is more popular for our pilots to take pictures of boats when its warm and sunny rather than when cold and dark. www.Boatpix.com

How and why did this thread go from talking about agricultural helicopter crashes in Palm Beach county, to advertising of the BoatPix business?

I don't think that information is very relevant to the topic at hand, Tom. I'm not trying to burst your bubble here, but there is a time and place for everything.

N666SL-2007 R44 II

Reminds me of our family car growing up. License plate 666-GEM, we called it "Satan's Jem".... lasted almost 18 years though so maybe I would have stuck with that tail number, lol.....

I agree Ragman, he doesn't care as long as he gets his plug.
