Dang I read the title and thought I would find some nice pictures here. :D Sorry, I had to say something. My only "tail time" has been in a R-22 intro flight so far so I have no right to vote.

Never flown one, but the K-Max has no tail rotor and it looks like they may start the production line up again. I believe there are only 27 left, although the new ones will only need a pilot at a desk far away.

I enjoyed flying the EC120 with the ducted fan, because it was so quiet. Other aspects of it were unpleasant (insufficient ventilation for all the heat coming in through the glass, a little underpowered) but it was brand new and that made up for a lot.

Regarding regular tail rotors, the only one where I never ran short of T/R power was the S76 - didn't matter what you demanded of it, it hung in there.

What about no tail, period. Vertol 107 or some other tandoms.

Being a huge Dual Rotor fan myself I can't believe I left them out, very sorry. Edited and Revised the poll to fulfill this requirement as of 12/13/2010

Personally, as long as the nose goes where I want when I push the pedals, I don't care what the push/pull tubes and bell cranks are connected to.

Though I admit, tandem rotor slope landings were a little weird until I got used to it.
