crashed_05 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) Tonight would be awesome for a flight. Never seen one but supposedly the snow on the ground has a red-ish glow. This is a very rare case. In the last 2000 years, there has only been one lunar eclipse on the solstice. Sorry for the late notice, but I just found out myself.Happening at 10:33 PM pacific time. Gunner Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Was on duty tonight out here on the East Coast and got to see it. Looked pretty neat through NVG's. Quote
crashed_05 Posted December 21, 2010 Author Posted December 21, 2010 Well, that was lame. At least I now know that I haven't been missing out on much. Maybe if I had some NVGs. Quote

Kimbo Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 I tried seeing it here in Pennsylvania at 3:00 am, but low and behold it was too cloudy Quote
