Mungo5 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Hello folks.. I've done some hunting about for a clear answer on this, but what I've found so far seems to be a little ambiguous. I have an FAA PPL(H) of a couple of years, somewhere over 100 hours. I've also got 30 hours Fixed wing from a few years ago which includes 9 hours solo. So, I'm wondering what I need to do to 'add' a PPL(A) to my license, as I'm guessing it's not as easy as going the other way round. Anyone done this, who could confirm the requirements? Thanks in adv. M5! Quote
Inferno Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Look at Part 61.109. Based on what you said, you need 3 hours dual, and 1 hour solo, but that all depends on which of your solo requirements you've met, etc. Read that section. It's clear cut on what you need.... Quote
