Airjunkie Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Well guys, I decided to start training fixed wing. I figured at this point in my life, college is almost over, and Unless I use my business degree I want to get into aviation. But with a passion for both so equal, I cant see any benefit for going helicopters. Everything for me says fixed wing, even when it comes down to my size and weight. Long story short, I started out training in fixed wing and bought a Bose headset. Now, I then switched to helicopters and bought the 195$ attachment 1 Plug so it would work. I never even took it out of the box. If you know or know anyone that could use this, I would sell for Shipping, + extremely cheap. Id rather not post price, because I guess you could turn around and re-sell. But I'm just trying to help a fellow aviator out here! Maybe you can get the "fixed wing" ones on ebay, and get a great steal from me? Anyways please post here or pm me. I hope I'm making the right move. Maybe Ill just buy a heli when I grow up! (grow up? never!) Thanks, Airjunkie Quote
nikon858 Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Good luck with the sale but fyi, I picked up one of those adapters when I stated flying for ~$20...this isn't a powered plug to single plug conversion is it? Those are expensive. Quote
Airjunkie Posted February 17, 2011 Author Posted February 17, 2011 yes it is the whole power unit that connects to the head phones. it includes the the headset, and volume/power controls. it is the coiled 1 prong helicopter version. $195 new. i dont want to take it out of the bubble wrap. it is what is in the link but its 1 prong not 2. http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/headphones/aviation_headsets/accessories/ahx_coiledcord_dualplug_acc.jsp Quote
