RotorBrains
Helicopters, as we all most likely know, aren't very efficient when it comes to fuel usage. Recently, I saw an animation of an axial vector engine working. I thought, "Why can't we have that type of engine in a helicopter? It would be a hell of a lot more efficient!" My question to the community is, "Would it work?" The engine in the link is no larger than a chainsaw engine, yet it can put out 640 ft./lbs. of torque, and 200 horsepower.
