EC135 P2+ (Sparks in the exhaust)

Noticed on a mission last night that our EC135 P2+ has sparks / embers coming out of the exhaust stack. Calls to P&W and talking to some other bases seem to indicate that this is normal for this engine as it approaches it's 800 hour inspection where the fuel nozzles get replaced. Has anyone else experienced this?
