droz88 Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Hey guys, As I continue doing my research I continue to stumble upon new questions that are hard to find answers to. In this case, I have read about the ANG UPT program which is different than Army WOFT. Is anyone in a position to compare and contrast these for me? What type of specialized training do you get in each? Are either one of these known to be superior over the other? Thanks, Droz Quote
akscott60 Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 In the other branches of service, you will fly fixed wing for the first part of training. Not a bad thing, IMHO, since I am a former fixed wing guy, but it is what it is. I really dont think you can beat Army for helicopter training. That is 98% of what we fly, and we have the best helicopter pilots in the world. Quote
CharyouTree Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 There's a reason the Air Force guys come to Fort Rucker.... Quote
