History of Naming models of Sikorsky Aircraft

Anyone know the history of naming of the models of Sikorsky aircraft? there is a S-47, s-48, s-49, s-51 but there is no S-50? s-76 and s-80 but no models in between?

The number is when the year the design phase of the aircraft started. The S-58 was started in 1958, S-70(Blackhawk) 1970, and so on. Some aircraft never made it into production, or even never had a prototype built, never leaving the design phase.
