SemperGumby
In "honor" of those Drone "pilots" we keep reading about lately. PBS has a documentary. http://video.pbs.org/video/2326108547/
SBuzzkill
The drones themselves are pretty cool.
Jester2138
The drones themselves are pretty cool. I agree. I love computers and airplanes and the marriage of the two is very cool. I just wish it didn't have to infringe upon our own chance to fly. Even so, at some point in the future if they can do the job better and more safely than I can then I'd be foolish not to give it up. One can only hope that this doesn't happen in our lifetime.
Lindsey
Sorry guys, going through my weekly youtube searching, but here's an incredible one: Inside Combat Rescue on National Geographic premiering February 18th. Features USAF CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) and PJs (Air Force Pararescuemen). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2FnW9GoY94 This premiered today. Watching it right now. Exceptionally good footage. Lindsey
Here's a show by Smithsonian about the USAF CSAR crews that picked up Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell after Operation Redwing (2005). This is the same operation in which a US Army 160th SOAR MH-47 was shot down, resulting in the deaths of everyone on board... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83VyH9l__m4

Lindsey
Here is some motivation for the weekend. I posted that one a few pages back, but it's definitely my favorite Afghanistan deployment video. Professionally (and tastefully) done. Definitely a great motivator!

01CelicaGTS
Came across this video today of a training exercise in Miami. It seems pretty awesome, but I'm sure that if I saw that and didn't know about it I would be scared ****less, lol.
