Heli Industry in Latin America

Just wondering if any of you can comment about the helicopter industry, or lack thereof, in Latin America, and whether there is a demand for Spanish speaking pilots (I speak Spanish).

 

I'm pretty sure there is at least some Tuna fishing. Anything else?

Unless you are a national, it will be extremely tough to get a job down that way. From time to time there are openings, but usually it is because of a huge expansion of the business there and they national operator has taken on a partner and is using the partner to quickly expand. And generally those position don't last very long.
