oasisPTC Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Anyone interested in a potential helicopter training location on the south side of Atlanta? Right now the only option in Metro Atlanta is out of the Dekalb-Peachtree location (KPDK). There is a proposal to start up a training location out of Peachtree City - Atlanta Regional Airport (KFFC). Would like to know what kind of interest there is in this type of training in a area currently void of such training. Both Part 61 and Part 141 training options are on the table and are in the planning stages. More information to follow as things develop but would like to to hear from potential students if this location would be a valid consideration for them. Plans would be to train in the R-44 initially with the R-22 based on demand. Obviously, the R-22 is more economical so this certainly is in the planning stages. Prices would be competitive with other local flight training areas and could be up and running within a month (Part 61) and shortly thereafter for Part 141 training. Please respond/post if you would be interested and any details on potential start dates, etc. You may also PM me for additional information on the start up process. Quote
