Helicopter Flying Handbook Figure 2-32

Is that a typo on figure 2-32 (power versus airspeed chart) in the Helicopter Flying Handbook? Specifically, on the B-side of the curve, the black line extending upward with an arrow, shouldn’t that caption read increasing power for increasing airspeed?

I'm gonna say no. I think they're just trying to show that as you decrease airspeed from 100kts down to an OGE hover it takes more power, which is true. Of course I've never been really good with graphs!

Naw, it's a typo. From hover to least drag configuration (C-A), power required decreases with increasing airspeed. As airspeed increases from there (A-B ), power required increases.

After staring at the damn thing for a while, I think you're both right, it must be a typo. I never really see the point in these graphs!
