Mr. Woods
I've been reading into submitting a Warrant Officer packet. Although I need a little guidance within the packet download area. I found two different links. 1. http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/warrant/WOpdownload_forms.shtml 2. http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/warrant/WOpdownload_memorandum.shtml I didn't know if one link was geared more towards active duty army, and the other for civilians. Also I was looking over the common applications errors link located here ( http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/warrant/download/Common_Application_Errors.pdf) and it states for one of them, Not reviewed and signed by a Warrant Officer, another says, Bock 41- Unit Commander must sign verifying APFT information is accurate. Do civilian applicants need these verifications or are they for active army only? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Yamer
Most of the common errors are for enlisted to be aware of. Check around the forums here and youll find a link to the civilian guidelines for the packet
av8rnik
If you haven't talked to a recruiter yet, you should do that too. For civilians, most of what is on the USAREC site is for active duty folks. As Yamer said, there is one page for civilians. The recruiter will be the one to fill out all the needed paper work for the packet.
D-Mac_84
Going off of what Av8r said, most of what you find online is for AD guys wanting to throw a WOFT packet in. Go to a recruiter and explain to him you want to submit a WOFT packet. He will then begin the extensive paperwork!
