Goldy
Robinson has now placed a $2000 bounty on the MR blades, in case any locals are divers. Apparently they have yet to be found.

ironranger
That bounty seems a little low. If they have to hire their own divers it will cost much more.
Goldy
Wouldn't they float? Don't think so, each blade weighs maybe 50 pounds? Plus the spindles and hardware....
lelebebbel
At least one blade has been found Photo is from here:http://treasureworks...-recovery#10587 Crop/Resize of the interesting area: Labels by me, obviously speculation, but that's what it looks like to me. At first glance, 2 things are noteworthy: 1) The blade bolt is still there, along with the nut. However, we don't know what the other half of it looks like. 2) The droop stop "tusk" is clearly visible (slightly bent sideways) and not broken off. At least on this blade here, I couldn't find any photos of the other one. The divers claim they have both in the forum thread though. JCM5
Like finding a needle in a haystack. ....or a rotor blade in the ocean. I hope this leads to an explanation of the cause of the accident.
